You

At Bowen Craggs, we come from a variety of backgrounds, from in-house teams to journalism and agencies: what we all have in common is an interest in digital corporate communication, and a willingness to learn, so qualities are more important than experience.

Qualities:

You must like words: writing and speaking them, to senior communications people in large organizations.

And numbers too: happy to interpret data to form and support conclusions.

An analytical mind, but able to express your thoughts in an engaging way.

Proactive, positive and inquisitive with an eagerness to learn.

Flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads based on the needs of the internal team and clients.

Comfortable working on your own, and as part of a small and friendly team.

Experience:

We don't have fixed criteria so tell us why your experience is relevant and interesting. But ideally, you'll have at least five years post-qualification experience, preferably in corporate digital communication, in-house or at an agency. Or you may have experience of wider digital communication, branding or marketing; corporate communication; or even business journalism.

A good degree in an arts or business-related subject would be a positive.

An interest in/experience of the activities and roles of multinational companies.

Some familiarity with content management systems, CRMs and data visualization tools such as Tableau would be desireable, but not essential.

Location

Central London / home working

You would be expected to be in our offices in Central London two to three days per week, or as required. Otherwise remote working and client visits (many have offices in London, some require European travel). Attendance at our annual conference (2020: Brussels, 9-10 June) mandatory.

Salary

£30,000-£40,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Benefits*

Bupa healthcare and dental cover for you and any partner / children

25 days paid holiday

Participation in company pension scheme

About Bowen Craggs

A unique research and consultancy group, our sole focus is online corporate communications – websites, digital media and social channels.

We exist to help large organizations maximise the effectiveness of their websites and other online tools, using techniques we have refined over the past 15 years. We believe that good corporate communication is becoming ever more important to a wider cross-section of society – and we are excited to play our part in bringing companies and people together.

We are a small company based in London, but we have a worldwide client base of some of the largest and best-known global organizations, including 10% of the world’s 200 biggest companies and one of the FANGs.

Crucially, we do not build clients’ websites or create their online content. Our exclusive focus is on providing impartial advice. This enables us to work alongside clients with no conflict of interest.

Flexibility is important to us: we like to be flexible for our clients, and for our employees too. We mix office working with home working – and of course, seeing our clients – to make sure that everyone stays happy and productive.

You can find out more about us in the About us and What we do sections of this site, and you can keep up to date with our latest thinking on our blog, Anansi
